After eating snacks and candies, instead of throwing out the trash on the sidewalk, why not to have a reusable bag to discard their own trash? R.Y.R decided to create a reusable bag for students. For all ages. Thus the NGO hopes that the government can contribute to the dissemination of new marketing bags. The NGO wants to make all students aware of the trash and its proper disposal as well. My NGO is about animals and its name is SHA – Saving and Helping the Animals. In Santos there are many abandoned animals in uncomfortable situations, for example, mistreated and wounded, there are people that let the animal trapped in small a place, adopt an animal and then put it out, etc. The first idea is to raise money, we search the animals and take care of it, after this search a new family for these animals. And for each animal adopted we receive a symbolic amount to help us with these animals. We have many volunteers to bath them and collect other animals to adoption. The true is that the price is cheap. People can donate calling us. How my NGO can help these animals? There are many options. If people see an animal suffering, without food or in a small place they can call us and in some minutes we are there to help and love it. So, we want the best for the population and if we take care of these animals we will reduce the fatalities, the accident and avoid dirtying your shoes with poo.

NGO – NMEG – No More Eletronic Garbage – The proposal of this NGO is to teach people how they can discard the electronic garbage. Nowadays the number of electronics that are thrown away is huge, because it is cheaper to buy another one. People throw it away without knowing the damage it is causing to the environment and also that these electronics can be turned into crafts. For example, once a craftsman used an old television as a dog house, he painted the television and removed all the internal equipment, putting a little bed for his dogs. In São Paulo there are a huge amount of phones, computers, mp3s and printers in the trash, because of that the city hall has created a permanent place for recycling this material. Our NGO aims for teaching how people can use this trash because many times this material can be fixed e donated to poor families or someone who is unable to buy a new one. So, the objective of the NGO is learning how to discard this garbage and if it is necessary seek the electronic garbage and give a good final destination.

The aim of this NGO is helping the homeless by offering treatment, recovery and professionalization. We want to promote the restoration of people that live on the streets, restoring their dignity, pride, self esteem and giving the possibility of a new life, restoring their physical, emotional, social, mental and familiar. Today there are many men, women and children facing problems of poverty, hunger and unemployment. Because of the prejudice and fear, most of them drink alcohol, use drugs, steal to sustain the family. We need the help of public and private institutions and good professionals in health and education. There are NGOs that host the homeless and some of the people attended by it today work as a volunteer, helping others who are in the same situation one day they had been. This is a motivation to decrease the number of people who are on the streets.

Many farmers are leaving to plant fruit trees because big buildings are invading large areas; so, without trees, the ground becomes vulnerable The consequence is that the slopes are getting very fragile and the lack of planting can cause collapse. So, the NGO could prevent the damage with a slogan: “Plant a fruit tree and protect the nature”. “Seeding” would be responsible to contact big farmers like Holambra and Terra Viva to obtain seeds or little trees, like banana trees, guava trees, carom trees and other fruit trees that could fructify quickly. Students of Biology would be invited to reforest the slopes. English schools could promote a big reforestation action with the students, taking them to help the NGO, especially in the Saint Patrick’s day. It would be a volunteer job, then NGO would disclose this activity in the public or private schools, but the essential would be involvement of the neighbors of the deforested slopes. After some years, the fruit would be distributed for the dwellers.
